It's one small Mint for man...

The legendary Summer of Love has spawned plenty of refreshing ideas, but it was Ferrero that came up with one, that stayed fresh for more than 45 years.

Today we say that it was one small Mint for a man, but one giant leap into refreshment for everybody.

The grand premiere

In this world one has to make a name for himself. A catchy name works best - thus Ferrero didn't hesitate to replace the "Refreshing Mints" name with "Tic Tac".

It was 1970 and the new branding hit the jackpot of attention. Tic Tac refers to the distinctive clicking sound of the pack – the new name caught on and Tic Tac quickly rose to stardom.

Dancing with the Mints

Eighties were the time of breaking through the walls of old - both for the world and for Tic Tac as well. Sales sky-rocketed in emerging markets, expanding Tic Tac to a total of five continents, and the introduction of new flavours were the marks of good times for the most popular Mints around the globe.

Tic Tac continued its walk of refreshing success, crowning Lime & Orange and Mint flavours as all-time classics.

Welcome to the Minternet

Nineties were the times of steady growth. Tic Tac had become one of the most popular confectionery products in the world. It was like something out of a film – the rise of a small Mint to a worldwide renowned refreshment giant - nothing could slow Tic Tac down. As the brand matured, the flavour range evolved to delight and surprise of its loyal fan base. Mint, Lime & Orange, Special Editions - Tic Tac has it all!

Always a team

Always fresh, always together, always a successful team. We still remember the warm round of applause given to Cherry Passion, Extra Strong Mint… Since then, we aim please our fan base with a variety new flavours, and - to our delight - they receive the warmest of welcomes.

Refresh your mind

Juno, Dr Doolittle, Airheads, To Rome with Love - yes, Tic Tac made it to the silver screen. To the small screen as well - Tic Tac has graced the likes of Friends, Will & Grace, The Simpsons and even Dr House.

This subtle drift to pop culture means a lot for us - it states that the refreshing power of Tic Tac has become a part of the common imagination.
